Vicky Wilson

Vicky is a poet, storyteller, non-fiction writer and editor. She has published her poems in magazines and in her own collection, has worked as a journalist and editor, and runs her own publishing company.

Vicky gives performances, organizes interactive events at festivals, provides workshops for adults and children and works in schools (she is a qualified teacher as well as a practitioner).

Festivals: together with poet Gary Studley she organizes interactive events that engage the public to respond to a specific location; their responses are then made into street art or performance poems.

Schools: Vicky gives workshops in primary schools to engage pupils with writing through poetry, storytelling and other fun activities. She will work to any theme and can tailor the programme to fit any timetable.
