Rob Turner
Rob works with many partners including foresters, gardeners, performers, town planners, architects, educators and community leaders in true collaboration.
Rob enjoys working in design teams to make the most of pooled knowledge and skills. He is experienced at managing complex projects enabling work by other artists to deliver integrated public art schemes.
Robs own particular skill is mosaic, which he has developed well beyond its traditional boudaries.
His recent work involved a project called Trail Blaze. He worked closely wih the Kent Wildlife Trust and people with art/craft skills to create this trail. It has been designed to highlight idiginous species within Thorden Wood, both animals and plants. The focus is on biodiversity and habitat creation, it is about highlighting what is already there. Its not an Art Park, more like an introduction to woodland wildlife. The trail forms a small part of the much wider Blean Project.
