Re:bourne:

Re:bourne was a magical journey through the past, present and future of Sittingbourne and was produced by Workers of Art and Nimble Fish.

Staged over the weekend of 13th & 14th August 2010, Re:bourne was a cross-arts, site-responsive festival that explored the many lives of Sittingbourne.
Workers of Art & Nimble Fish offered local artists, arts organisations and local community groups a mentoring opportunity through which they created an event specific artistic activity for the Re:bourne Festival.Re:bourne also engaged artists from across Kent who created interactive installations throughout the two days. The event was a Swale Borough Council initiative and was also funded by Kent County Council.

A film was made of the festival that can be viewed on the Resources page of our website.
